David Bonnette is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lanyon and also serves on its board of directors. In this role, he leads the company’s overall strategy and relentless drive to enable extraordinary results for customers and employees, alike.
Prior to joining Lanyon, Bonnette served as CEO at BigMachines for three years during which time the company achieved record-setting results leading to an acquisition by Oracle. Before that, he held a variety of executive roles at Oracle where he led North American organizations in ERP, CRM, and consulting. Bonnette has worked in the software industry for nearly 20 years while serving on the boards of directors of both BigMachines and Brainware (acquired by Lexmark).
Bonnette is a member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO Dallas), serves on the advisory board for the Posse Foundation, and regularly mentors entrepreneurs. He lives in the Dallas area with his wife and three children.
Teresa Grau is Lanyon’s Senior Vice President of HR, Recruiting, and Training. In this role, Teresa leads the management and implementation of quality-based, integrated human resources programs, talent acquisition, and employee development. She brings more than 12 years of outstanding results in the area of organizational health, employee relations, benefits, recruiting, and advanced training for new hires and existing employees. She is the steward of employee resources in service to the company’s mission, strategic goals, and values.
Teresa comes to us most recently from Sunquest, where she drove extraordinary outcomes based on a tightly aligned organization. In addition, to Teresa core competence in Human Resources she has more than 13 years of experience in support operations with a variety of roles in product, customer experience, and process innovation.
As Lanyon’s Chief Marketing Officer, Anthony leads the global marketing organization, responsible for driving market leadership and global demand through integrated multi-channel campaigns. This includes product marketing, corporate communications, demand generation, brand and content marketing, live and digital events and customer advocacy.
Prior to this role, Anthony was the SVP of Strategy and Product Management, working with Lanyon’s clients around the world, providing tools and data to help them create smarter meetings, events, and corporate travel programs. Miller has more than ten years of experience in software and services for the marketing, events, and hospitality industries, having worked with many of the Fortune 500.
Anthony is a prominent thought leader and regular industry speaker, who believes that by applying technology and data to live meetings and events, companies of all sizes will finally be able to clearly demonstrate the value created from bringing people together.
John Mills is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Lanyon. John supervises the financial health of Lanyon and is also our chief financial spokesperson.
Prior to joining Lanyon, John was the Chief Financial Officer for Infogroup, a leading data and marketing provider, where he led all financial aspects of the company. He has held senior-level finance roles in the travel industry, including Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Sabre Holdings and CFO of Travelocity. His extensive global experience in planning and budgeting, strategic partnerships, investment analysis, financial operations, and his travel industry knowledge are invaluable assets to Lanyon’s leadership team.
John holds an MBA from the Jones Graduate School of Rice University and a BBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Texas. John lives in the greater Dallas area with his wife and three children.
As Chief Technology Officer & COO, John Pulling leads all of Lanyon’s product, support and services functions, including product strategy, product development, and Cloud infrastructure management.
Pulling has more than 25 years of operational leadership experience in the enterprise software industry. Prior to joining Lanyon, he was Senior Vice President of Products for BigMachines. In this role, Pulling led the Company’s product and Cloud operations teams. The company was eventually acquired by Oracle. Before BigMachines, Pulling was Vice President of Product Management at Infor, where he was responsible for product strategy for their strategic edge applications such as its Customer Relationship Management (CRM), supply-chain management, enterprise-management, and product lifecycle-management solutions. Prior to Infor, he was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Provia Software, a provider of supply-chain software.
Pulling holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
As Lanyon’s SVP of Product Strategy, Product Management and Corporate Strategy, Sam's core focus is delivering product superiority and profitable growth across Lanyon’s product portfolio.
Prior to Lanyon, Sam led Products, Marketing and Corporate Development at Passkey (now known as Lanyon Passkey), a cloud-based technology provider serving global hotel chains and corporations. Under his leadership, the company grew fivefold in just 8 years — leading to an acquisition by Vista Equity Partners and merger with Lanyon. Before Passkey, he co-founded and served as CEO, Board Member and Chief Products Officer at Bungo, an award-winning innovator in the online collaboration and messaging space. Sam also spent several years in investment banking at global venture and buyouts firm Japonica Partners. He began his career in marketing at Procter & Gamble.
Sam has a B.Sc. in Physics from American University, as well as an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He holds several patents, and serves as an adviser to a number of start-ups, entrepreneurs and venture buyout firms.
As Vice President of Industry Strategy, Kevin Iwamoto guides Lanyon’s strategy for engaging with buyers and suppliers in the meetings, events, association, and corporate hospitality industries. Iwamoto also works to raise awareness of the benefits of strategic meetings management (SMM).
Prior to joining Lanyon, Iwamoto was Vice President of Industry Strategy with ACTIVE Network™ Business Solutions Group, a leading provider of event-marketing and SMM technology. He is a former President and CEO of the Board of Directors for the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) and has been honored with every major business travel accolade, including GBTA’s Industry Icon and President’s Awards, Business Travel Executive‘s 13 Top Visionaries, and Business Travel News’ Top 25 Most Influential Executives, as well as Travel Manager of the Year.
Iwamoto holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii, Honolulu, and a Global Leadership Professional Masters designation from the Wharton School of Business.
As Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Kevin O’Rourke drives Lanyon’s sales strategy, as well as expansion into new markets around the world.
O’Rourke has more than 15 years of experience in enterprise technology sales. Prior to Lanyon, he was Vice President of Sales with ACTIVE Network™ Business Solutions, a leading provider of event-marketing and strategic meetings management technology for enterprise organizations and small to midsize businesses and associations. Before joining ACTIVE Network, he held several sales leadership roles at EMC2, specializing in data protection, cloud solutions, and business intelligence.
O’Rourke has a bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
