Global meetings, events and travel software provider Lanyon has appointed Christie Hicks, Mark Komine and Bill Nicholson to its strategic advisory board. Hicks, former senior vice president of Starwood’s sales organization, is one of Forbes' 25 Most Influential Women in Travel. Komine, former head of sales for Hilton and LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels, is now president and managing partner of Whiteboard Sales Advisors. Bill Nicholson, a founding member of Pegasus Solutions, has worked on technology for the travel and meetings industry for 25 years.

Lanyon Solutions Inc. has appointed three hospitality industry leaders to its strategic advisory board.
The Dallas-based global meetings, events and travel software provider announced the additions of Christie Hicks, formerly of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide; Mark Komine, formerly of Hilton Hotels & Resorts; and Bill Nicholson, formerly of hospitality management company Pegasus Business Solutions. The appointments come as Lanyon enhances its Smart Hotel Cloud solutions, which gives hotels the tools to generate more business by marketing intelligently to corporate buyers, increase upsell revenue and maximize revenue per available room.

Jay Link has joined Lanyon as chief sales officer after serving as vice president worldwide sales at Gravitant, a cloud brokerage software firm recently acquired by IBM.  Link will oversee global field and inside sales teams for the meetings, event and travel software company. He is based in Dallas and reports to Lanyon chief executive David Bonnette.

Dallas software company Lanyon has appointed Jay Link as its chief sales officer.

Link formerly served as the senior vice president of worldwide sales at Gravitant, which was acquired by IBM in November.

Link will oversee Lanyon’s global field and inside sales teams as well as lead the company’s sales engineers and sales operations department. He will be based at Lanyon’s headquarters and report to CEO David Bonnette.
